bruh that flood knock down most of the turrets and dragons. soldiers are fighting for their lives, they are doing their best to maintain formation despite low morale.

Pfft, the sword doulou was trash from start to finish. He was more so formation doulou, hence why the guy couldn't do anything alone. Hardly pivotal that he and the sacred blood bag died.

What happened to the red armor he got from the soul bones? Did he lose it or are they going to be used as plot armor?

I think they said it was unstable or something like that...I don’t know if they’ll use it for plot armor or not but what I do know is that once he gets to level 99 like they said before and gets all soul bones in complete body positions he should be able to use the armor freely

i have three thoughts about this episode.
1. that was an epic battle!
2. why did such a big wave do so little actual damage?

3. the animation quality has clearly dropped in some aspects...
i am talking abour the quality of the water animations and the army movement scenes.
the water looked like a blue-ish mass in some scenes and like liquid fog in some others, both are far their usual quality.
and the army movements, in many scenes the soldiers were running fast while moving much slower and then suddenly rubber-banding forward. this is animation quality from over ten years ago, maybe even twenty years and should be quite easy to solve.
i know pumping out one episode every week is probably quite difficult, but did they not quality check at all? its so easy to spot!

this war is quite an ambitious project.. compared to episodes up to the start of the war where they had much less to animate in terms of characters, movement and various animations this is on a totally different scale so its quite impossible to have the same quality of animation unless they get more man power and allot of it. in my opinion it still looks pretty good all things considered

the soldier scenes had maybe 20 soldiers visible, they have managed better in the past.
and even if they have to animate hundreds, they can just make most of them low detail small sized and the problem is solved.
i think the problem is not with the amount of moving objects to animate, but with the time it takes to do fine tuning everything, since they only have a week per episode.
though that should still be enough time to fix obvious mistakes.
maybe it's just that someone from the team got ill and they are suddenly understaffed?

That was sooo awesome. That tsunami..............i am literally on shortage of words as how to explain it, i got goosebumps. Although looks like the soul Empire didn't mind it that much😂. I am dying to see more of these scenes.

Wow, that's a hell of a way to show dominance, TS showcasing his future abilities as the heir of ocean deity!! If he's doing stuff like that then just imagine when he actually becomes the ocean deity fully with full power!! Though, (did he just give them all a bath lmao??) I thought with that huge wave, that there'd be way more damage than that, like way more dead troops/enemy corpses rather than just 2 dead chiefs and broken weapons. He literally flooded a 1/5th of a city?! Still, it was super cool and gave TS the much awaited attention and shine he deserves, we've all been waiting for them to quit nerfing him and let him unleash his full capabilities.

I think it was a bit more than 1/5th of the city. At 10:51 you can see an aerial view of the city during flooding of which everything is covered except for an eagle looking statue. Even though that scene was really good, I agree with what you said about the death of troops and more weapons should have been destroyed. When I saw the troops getting up with spears in hand and them quickly putting the launchers back into place, I couldn't help myself from saying out loud "what bs".

the music the graphics the logic the pace the plot everything about this screams that it is a childrens cartoon. Look at the newly released apotheosis anime or battle through the heavens. MANLY made for adults. Soul land is made for children..

This was epic Holy Sh*tt!!!!! I am about to rewatch this episode one more time. That Tsunami was epic af. I am surprised a lot of soldiers werent crushed by that let alone injured but still epic af. He did cut their Morale down but yes Bibi Dong is the one who needs to go. he kill her Morale will drop like crazy.
